Welcome to Ida. By creating an account and using our app, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Ida is operated by 9362-5739 Québec inc., based in Quebec City, Canada.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your credentials with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
To maintain a high-quality and safe experience for everyone, profiles may be reviewed by our team before they become visible to other users, and at any time afterwards. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or suspend a profile's visibility to other users — including likes and other interactions it sends — for example while it is under review or until it meets our quality standards, such as a minimum number of photos or a completed profile. We do not guarantee that your profile will be visible to other users at any given time.

You retain ownership of the content you post on Ida (photos, text, etc.). By posting content, you grant Ida a non-exclusive license to use, display, adapt, and distribute your content within the app for the purpose of providing the service — including modified renditions our features generate, such as cropped thumbnails or the blurred previews shown to other users. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
Ida offers optional paid subscriptions (Ida Star, Ida Nova, Ida Supernova) and in-app purchases. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription management and refunds are handled by the respective app store according to their policies.
Boosts and other purchasable in-app items are limited, revocable, non-transferable licenses to use a feature of the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not refundable except as required by law or by the applicable app store's policies. Unused items are forfeited when your account is deleted or terminated for a violation of these terms. We may modify or discontinue virtual items; where reasonably possible, we will preserve items you have already purchased.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the platform. Termination for a violation may take effect without notice and without refund of unused subscription time or items, except where a refund is required by law or by the applicable app store's policies, and a user whose account was terminated for a violation may not create a new account without our permission. As part of routine platform maintenance, we may also remove accounts that have remained inactive for an extended period (30 days or more) or that were never completed; accounts with an active paid subscription will not be removed for inactivity. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.
We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on our users, and we make no representations about the conduct, identity, or intentions of any user. You are responsible for your interactions with other users. Always exercise caution when communicating with someone you do not know and when meeting someone in person for the first time: meet in a public place and tell someone you trust about your plans.
Ida is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that the service will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for the behavior of other users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ida's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to Ida in the twelve months preceding the claim and one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of enjoyment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the laws of the Province of Quebec — in particular, liability for bodily or moral injury or for damage caused by an intentional or gross fault.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Ida, 9362-5739 Québec inc., and their officers and employees harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) made by a third party and arising from the content you post, your conduct on or through the app, or your violation of these terms.
The app, including its name, logo, design, illustrations, software, and all content provided by Ida, is owned by 9362-5739 Québec inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you no rights in it other than the personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the app as intended while these terms are in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of Ida will be resolved in the courts of Quebec City, Quebec.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ida regarding the app. If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Ida after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
